About My Clients
I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and with survivors of various types of abuse, violence, trauma, or criminal victimization. If you feel "othered" because of who you are, or because of things that have happened to you, I see you. I strive to understand each individual's values, needs, wounds, fears, strengths, and hopes for the future. I truly believe that you are capable of feeling empowered, peaceful, hopeful, and that you can lead a fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space to help you better understand yourself, the world, and your place in it. It is an honor to walk alongside you in this journey of self-discovery. Regardless of diagnosis, I believe most people benefit from learning skills in emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, and self-compassion. We will target meaningful goals, to help you find more satisfaction in your life. While acknowledging the privilege associated with being a white, cis-gendered person, I consider myself an ally to BIPOC, AANHPI, Latinae, LGBTQIA2S+ identifying persons, neurodivergent folks, immigrants, and refugees. My primary goal is to get to know you as an individual, and I will always work to create a space together that feels safe and supportive for you. I am open to your feedback, and I always want to grow and "level up," as a human, and as a mental health clinician.
