I have studied and worked with my Counseling supervisor to learn about how panic often results from a person being overwhelmed by too many vague, general feelings. I have worked with many clients who have come to therapy initially because of panic attacks, working with them to specify their feelings, by being curious about all aspects of themselves and increasing their emotional vocabulary.

I espouse person-centered theory in my approach of unconditional positive regard for all, delighting in my clients and the various ways they are made, to customize their therapy to who they are. I enjoy getting to know clients well, joining them in a therapeutic relationship, for the best counseling outcomes.

I use art therapy with clients to help them make the internal external, for greater self-awareness, alongside growth in emotional vocabulary.

I encourage clients to be curious about themselves in all areas of life and from all angles, including their thoughts and behavior, to develop a robust internal self, to trust and tap into when they are trying to make changes in their lives.
