I have a Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on families. Most of my training is in Marriage and Family Therapy. I help many couples stay together...or successfully and peacefully transition their relationship.

I help people deal with their anxiety and find creative new ways to cope. I used to teach skills for managing panic attacks in a traditional way, until I had one myself. Unfortunately, what I had taught people didn't work for me. Now I have found methods that help people significantly reduce their anxiety, and hopefully head off panic attacks quickly.

I have over 30 years experience working in mental health. In that time I have worked in multiple psychiatric hospitals and have conducted over 10,000 suicide assessments in an Emergency Room. I am definitely comfortable helping you manage your Depression.

Life is about finding your individual meaning, purpose, and direction. This is the only defense we have against the random horrible things that happen to us. Perhaps the best way to describe this type of therapy is to give you the name of two books to read: "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl and "The Gift of Therapy: An Open Letter to a New Generation of Therapists and Their Patients" by Irvin D. Yalom.

I help many couples either stay together or peaceful separate. My background is in Marriage and Family therapy, however as a Clinical Counselor and I can help you with your relationship.

Almost every Counselor does CBT. It is the standard of care for many insurance companies and treatment programs. Most of my early reading was in this area. I am "problem-focused" and "action-oriented" with emphasis on making meaningful changes in your life.
