About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful adults balancing careers, relationships, and complex responsibilities. Despite outward success, they may struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They tend to be reflective and motivated, seeking a space to think clearly, understand themselves more deeply, and make meaningful changes.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in practical insight. Many of the people I work with are capable, reflective adults who have built full lives—careers, relationships, families—but find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. From the outside things may appear stable or successful, yet internally they may feel exhausted, uncertain, or disconnected from the life they want to be living. Therapy offers a space to step back from daily pressures and examine what is happening beneath the surface. Together we explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing practical strategies for meaningful change. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches help clients manage anxiety, develop emotional flexibility, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful growth happens when people are given the space to think honestly about their lives without judgment or pressure. Therapy works best when it is both reflective and practical—helping people understand themselves more clearly while also developing healthier ways of responding to the challenges they face. Outside of my work as a therapist, I value time spent with family, staying physically active, and being outdoors whenever possible. These interests reflect my belief that mental well-being is closely connected to balance in daily life—through movement, relationships, and time for reflection. I also have a strong interest in psychology, human behavior, and the ways people create meaning and direction in their lives. These interests continue to shape both my personal life and the work I do with clients, and they reinforce my belief that change is possible when people approach their lives with curiosity and intention.
