About My Clients
I have experience with adults, couples, families, and adolescents. I started my career in geriatric psych and love working with older adults and their families. It's my first love as a therapist. I have expanded into all areas of behavioral health with many years in inpatient settings. Leadership counseling and professional adult counseling is a specialty of mine. I enjoy working with couples, and young adults. Hope to see you soon!
My Background and Approach
I always knew I was meant to be a social worker. It's something in our blood. I believe in helping people the best I can deep down to my soul. I am good at what I do; and have been fortunate to be able to grow in my career to support people who support people in various leadership roles. This included working as a CEO of the largest behavioral health facility in southern Arizona for five years. I am back to my roots working with clients directly and am loving making differences with people, couples, and families one on one. Your therapeutic journey starts with where you are and where you want to go. I believe in exploring and strengthening my client's core beliefs and internal philosophies. We then apply and analyze how your roots connect to how you operate in your life. Its a personal, deep, and also fun journey we get to take together! I love finding humor and believe we can cherish both the seriousness and the ridiculousness of how we and others move through it all.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a big believer that every single person is a single person. They have their own story, experiences, and deserve to be appreciated and considered. I believe in inclusivity and sensitivity to race, culture, and identity. You deserve to be seen how you want to be seen. And you deserve to exercise your self-determination to move how you want to move and find your happy. I believe the only person who can support you best is you! I'm just your hype-woman! I am centered as an ethical human being and work to make the biggest positive impact I can on every individual I interact with. This includes my clients, to my neighbors, to my barista.
