About My Clients
Many people look entirely accomplished and composed on the outside, yet find themselves burdened on the inside by persistent feelings of unfulfillment, profound loneliness, and emotional isolation. You may have built a life that functions well to the world, while secretly navigating a quiet, longstanding dissatisfaction. Individuals seek my services when they find their underlying emotional weight and familiar, painful patterns resurface.
My Background and Approach
Beyond my academic and institutional training, I believe that a depth-oriented clinician must intimately understand the therapeutic process from both sides of the room. To honor this, I have completed my own personal, four-times-a-week psychoanalysis with a psychoanalyst. Navigating the depths of my own inner world has provided me with invaluable insight into what it feels like to sit in the client's chair. I completed my three-year Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2025. My practicum was completed through Winther Counseling Services in the Fall of 2023. My internship was completed through University Health and Counseling Services at UW-Whitewater in the Spring of 2025. Through these placements, I practiced weekly individual depth therapy through a psychoanalytic/psychodynamic lens, with additional experience in group therapy, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary consultation.
