About My Clients
Do you struggle with trauma, relationship issues, and anxiety? You experience anxiety in your relationships, where you hardly feel secure and confident in the relationship. You find yourself stuck in the same issues. Past wounds and trauma continue to color your life and keep you from being who you want to be and having the relationships you desire. You don't know how to move forward or what to do to create a fulfilling, anxiety-free life.
My Background and Approach
I use a mixture of approaches to guide my clients to achieve the following: 1) processing your emotions and experience, 2) gaining insight into yourself and the patterns that keep you stuck, 3) healing trauma and childhood wounds, 4) providing solution focused strategies to create active change and relief, and 5) challenging you to new ways of thinking and being. I mostly draw from attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness based practices, and a solution focused approach with individuals. With couples, I use a combination of emotion focused therapy, Gottman, and attachment theory. I help couples to decode what their behaviors are really trying to communicate to one another, and I highlight how a couple's interactions creates a cyclical pattern where the root of the issues lie. I provide couples with the tools to reconnect, work through conflict, and break the pattern.
