About My Clients
I specialize in trauma and PTSD and have extensive experience working with people who have been through overwhelming or life-changing experiences. You can expect therapy to be a collaborative conversation, not a lecture or a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I want you to feel comfortable being honest, while also helping you develop practical strategies you can use in your everyday life. We'll identify what you want to change, make a plan together, and regularly check whether therapy is helping
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Gottman Method, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused interventions. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your goals, your experiences, and what is most helpful for you. I especially enjoy helping people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a major life transition, we'll focus on understanding what's happening while building practical tools you can use outside of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my personal time I am active in marine conservation with activities such as sea turtle patrol, coral reef restoration diving, and serving as a citizen scientist for stony coral tissue loss disease.
