About My Clients

Hi, I’m Grace! My clients are deep feelers and thinkers who feel lost and overwhelmed by past trauma, big emotions, and shame. They come to therapy hoping to find greater inner peace and relief from the painful patterns negatively impact their lives. I have a special love for working with self-identified perfectionists, people pleasers, and creatives. Therapy with me is both depth-oriented and fun — we'll explore the hard stuff while also making space for laughter and joy.

My Background and Approach

Many come to therapy hoping to quiet the chaos, to find an off switch for painful feelings. But we can’t numb pain without also numbing joy, connection, and meaning—the things that make life worth living. My approach isn’t about fixing you, but about helping you turn toward yourself and build the capacity to feel, experience, and fully show up in your life. My style is compassionate, low-pressure, and collaborative. I’m not afraid to laugh, get real, or let things be a little messy. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, and I meet you where you are, never rushing your process. My approach is eclectic and flexible, drawing from relational-cultural therapy, narrative therapy, somatic work, IFS, ACT, and existentialism. In therapy with me, you won’t be told who to be or how to feel. Instead, we’ll gently explore your story, reconnect with parts of yourself you’ve had to hide, and make space for growth, freedom, and real self-trust.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and safe to show up as their full self. I’m deeply committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for people of all identities and backgrounds. As a biracial woman, I hold a special passion for working with those navigating the complexities of culture, race, and belonging. I honor the impact of systems—racism, homophobia, fatphobia, ableism, etc.—and how they shape our sense of self. You don’t have to explain or justify your identity here. I believe in the dignity and worth of all people, and I strive to hold space that’s not only trauma-informed, but justice-informed—where your lived experience matters and is honored. Whether you’re deconstructing harmful messages or learning to embrace who you are, my work is rooted in compassion, nuance, and the belief that you are not broken. You are human—and you deserve to be supported as you reclaim your voice, your story, and your right to take up space.
