About My Clients

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem struggles, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are adults and couples seeking clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Using tailored modalities that work for individuals, I help clients process emotions, strengthen relationships, and create lasting personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally sensitive, allowing clients to feel seen and supported.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and provide therapy to individuals seeking growth, clarity, and emotional balance. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative, and Trauma-Focused modalities. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools to manage life’s challenges. My work emphasizes creating a safe space where clients can explore their stories and rewrite them. My background includes working with diverse populations, including young adults and professionals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and identity exploration. I strive to create a safe, culturally sensitive, and empowering space where clients feel heard and supported as they build self-awareness, confidence, and healthier patterns. Each session is collaborative, tailored to your needs, and designed to help you move from surviving to thriving.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and cultural awareness. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen and understood within the context of our lived experiences. As a Black woman and mental health professional, I am deeply committed to creating space for clients from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds who may not have felt represented in traditional therapy settings. I value honoring each client’s unique story, identity, and intersectionality while fostering self-compassion and empowerment. Faith, purpose, and social justice guide my values both personally and professionally. I believe in challenging stigma within communities of color and advocating for mental health access that is culturally responsive and inclusive. Beyond therapy, I’m passionate about women’s empowerment, emotional wellness, and helping others connect mind, body, and spirit to live more authentically and wholeheartedly.
