About My Clients
My work focuses on exploring relationship dynamics, identities, LGBTQIA+ issues, grief, and existentialism-including political and climate anxiety. My approach can be described as experiential and collaborative and is informed by feminist and queer theory, and a restorative justice framework. You can expect me to show up with warmth, humor, approachability, and curiosity. I believe in relationships as a core place of learning in life and will particularly attend to cycles of rupture and repair.
My Background and Approach
My educational background is in child/developmental psychology from the U of M and a masters in marriage and family therapy from Saint Mary’s University. I’ve also completed over 100 hours of advanced trainings (level 1 and 2) in Internal Family Systems, also known as IFS or parts work. Current openings: I hold a limited number of openings to see Individual clients using insurance at Namu Integrative. I'm currently only taking new clients through private pay. If you are needing to use insurance, you're welcome to inquire about the waitlist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I offer client’s an opportunity to explore the impact of external factors like relationships, societal expectations, and systems of oppression on their internal landscapes and parts. I believe in relationships as a core place of learning in life and will particularly attend to cycles of rupture and repair.
