About My Clients
There are moments when some of your closest relationships begin to feel challenging to navigate. You notice a lack of understanding, feeling heard and seen, and connection. You might feel hopeless or overwhelmed when the same issues and conflicts repeat. I can work with you to help process places you feel stuck in relationships.
My Background and Approach
Using an emotionally focused and attachment-based approach, I help clients overcome struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationship issues, family conflict, and intergenerational trauma. Additionally, I specialize in working with clients who wish to explore facets of their identity, such as their cultural or racial identity, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation. My approach to therapy focuses on collaborating with clients to build a nurturing space, where each person’s unique hopes and goals are validated and affirmed. I believe that each client has the strength to make the changes in life that they wish to see. I walk alongside each client’s journey and foster a safe environment to explore emotions and heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a second-generation Korean-American, I recognize the difficulties of navigating multiple cultural identities and the stigmas around mental health and therapy. The intersections of our identities can have a profound impact on how we navigate through day-to-day life. I offer my services in English and Korean. If you’re feeling overwhelmed about where to begin, please reach out. I offer free consultations to all potential clients to connect and see if we can be a good fit. Together, we can focus attention on the areas within your control and create new meaning and possibilities for a future that honors your most authentic self.
