About My Clients
Many of my clients struggle with issues related to codependence, including self-esteem and boundary issues, difficulty staying in their own reality, attending to their own needs, and being overwhelmed with perfectionism and/or self-criticism. There is hope for healing from this painful past and moving forward with healthier relationships.
My Background and Approach
Ever ask yourself, "Why do I keep doing that?" What do you do when you get to the parts of yourself that hold pain, anger, criticism, anxiety, depression, and general tension? Internal Family Systems can help with that. Take your practice to a deeper level and create actual healing for the wounded parts of yourself. I am IFS trained, and I also specialize in codependency and narcissistic abuse recovery (when that is part of the picture). Let me guide you in this trauma informed journey to healing and deeper self connection. Using Internal Family Systems, we will work to gain greater understanding of your experiences, process and release difficult emotions and traumatic memories, reduce vulnerability of your system, and increase self-compassion and self-leadership.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs are more spiritual than religious, although I am supportive of all faiths. I believe that presence and acceptance are vital keys to freedom and peace. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand that most identities exist on a spectrum. Trying to fit ourselves into one box or another doesn't allow us to flow with the changing circumstances of our lives, whether we're talking about sexuality, gender, family roles, jobs/careers, trauma, or even hobbies. The only constant in the universe is change. While it can be uncomfortable, it is inevitable, so let's learn to flow with it.
