About My Clients
I am a Mental Health Counselor specializing in treating trauma. Symptoms most associated with trauma include anxiety and panic attacks, fear, anger, irritability, obsessions and compulsions, shock and disbelief, emotional numbing and detachment, depression, shame, and guilt I primarily work with women 20 years old and up. I have extensive experience working with individuals that have been victims of family and intimate partner abuse and violence.
My Background and Approach
My approach involves creating a safe space to process emotions, heal, find meaning, and become empowered in life. I offer free consultations to make sure we are a good fit and will work with the unique concerns of each individual. Primary modalities: Existential Therapy ~ Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) ~ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
