About My Clients
My clients are typically those who sit on the intersection of identity and are yearning to feel, express, and be seen, including those who are BIPOC, bicultural, neurodiverse, trans, queer, polyamorous/ENM, kinky, and/or living with chronic illness and disabilities.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in my identities as a queer, South Asian mixed race person who believes in transformative justice and that living in loving relationship with yourself and others is possible. I help folks reconnect with themselves and their loved ones after trauma, systemic oppression, attachment challenges, and shifts in their identities (particularly around gender, sexuality, ability, and relationship style) through couples/relationship, family, and individual therapy. I believe that our pasts, our relationships with others, our communities, and the greater systems that surround us are all influential parts of who we are and how we exist in the world. Challenges happen when these parts come into conflict with who we are. In our work together, we will build a space that is gentle and caring to all parts of you, where all abilities, relationship styles, and cultures and backgrounds can exist authentically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a person with many intersecting identities, some that are valued more than others, I know firsthand what it is like to feel like I can't be myself. I also know how good it can feel to have a space to exist with contentment and authenticity. When we take the time to reflect, trust, and tune into ourselves & our pasts we can start to heal and grow. My goal is to create self compassion, connection with others, and the gentle courage to live your life in a way that feels fulfilling and authentic to you. I'm excited to get to know you!
