About My Clients

My clients are high-achieving professionals, first-generation strivers, and people who look like they have it all together, and mostly do, but something underneath isn't working anymore. They're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix, performing okay at work, showing up for everyone else, and running on empty silently. They've often never prioritized their own mental health because there was always something more urgent. They're ready to stop living in survival mode and start existing.

My Background and Approach

I've spent many years doing clinical work in high-stakes environments, where life, safety, and human dignity are the center of focus. That background shaped how I show up for clients, I am steady and don't scare easily. I take a culturally grounded, justice-informed approach because I believe the context of someone's life matters as much as the content of their struggles. Systemic stress is real stress. Identity is not incidental to mental health, it's central to it. My work draws on evidence-based modalities adapted to the person I'm working with. I founded Guided Therapy Co. because I wanted to build a practice where people who have historically been underserved by mental health systems can find care that sees them fully. If you've been told you're "too much" or "doing fine" when you know you're not, this is a space for that.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone can benefit from mental health treatment. Most of the time it goes unattended not because people don't need it, but because of the assumptions that surround it. Growing up Latina, mental health was always one of two extremes — something for the incredibly wealthy who could afford to talk about their problems, or something for people who were "very unwell." Neither left much room for the rest of us. But we all fall somewhere along those lines, and where we fall changes depending on what part of life we're in. Just because you're appearing high-functioning by societal standards doesn't mean you're truly okay on the inside, and that's okay, as long as we acknowledge it first. I'm here for the part where you do something about it. Good things are coming.
