I believe in building on your strengths and empowering you to make the choices and changes that make sense to you. I specialize in treating anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, communication, conflict resolution, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
With a theoretical foundation in Humanistic person-centered therapy, I believe each person is unique and has the strength within to heal. Even though two clients might come in for the same presenting problem, I understand there is so much more involved in treatment depending on culture, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic background, demographics, and psychographics. Even twins can have opposite experiences. I provide a safe, positive, non-judgmental and warm environment where together we can explore ways to embrace change and find the fulfillment and life balance you long for. I am aware that some people hear the words "Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist" and automatically think that my only experience has involved couples. However, I have provided therapy to clients ranging from ages 2 to 82 in Individual, Couples, Families, and Group settings. My goal is for a connection where my clients feel they can trust me and the process to improve their current circumstances.
