About My Clients
Do you find yourself asking many questions, wishing things were different, or stuck in familiar patterns? My goal and hope is to support you in navigating what brings you to therapy, whether this is your first time here, or returning to familiar places. Challenging experiences and emotion often present as opportunity to transformative growth and learning. My areas of expertise lie in supporting folks experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relational difficulties, and more!
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I view therapy as a deeply relational process. The power of a warm and safe relationship can often feel transformative. I am passionate about working with children, youth, and adults to support you towards feeling better! I have experience in working with folks of various identities as it might to relate to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, faith and more. In therapy, I am committed to providing a non-judgmental and welcoming environment to be able to foster lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My educational background is grounded in social work. I carry this training into my therapeutic practice. I work to view and explore your felt experiences and challenges from a systemic approach. I view our behaviors as being deeply rooted in adaptation and survival. While some of these many no longer be serving you, it is important to show appreciation and compassion to the ways you have learned to survive and adapt. I am avid supporter of inalienable human rights. I believe in environmental justice and will often explore the ways our systems and environment have shaped us to become who are today. While of course, allowing for space to envision change and growth through acceptance.
