About My Clients
Experiencing trauma often cuts people off from parts of themselves and can make it difficult to experience the present moment and move forward. In my therapeutic practice, I aim to create a warm and supportive space where you can embrace the fullness of yourself in a way that allows for healing, insight and positive change.
My Background and Approach
Using psychodynamic talk therapy along with grounding and mindfulness practices we will explore your thoughts, sensations and emotions as they come up in sessions. For individuals experiencing addiction I use a harm reduction approach that will support you in making incremental changes to your behavior.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My art background helps me tap into people’s innate creativity that can be accessed as an integral part of healing and transformation. Together, we will identify tools that can support you as you develop insights, make new meaning out of challenging life experiences, and increase self-acceptance. I am LGBTQAI affirming.
