About My Clients

I'm culturally sensitive and when I say culture I mean values and traditions that may come from a different country, family, relationship, life phase or career. People transitioning from a different culture may find trouble navigating new situations, may experience anxiety, grief, loss, or depression.

My Background and Approach

First, I would like you to set the areas that are troubling to you, I won't take any attribution beforehand. I want you to feel free to express yourself and define the problem as you see it. My goal for you is to feel comfortable to speak up, whatever the problem is, I would help to formulate the problem if you are experiencing difficulties in verbalizing. We can use talk therapy or Art therapy for that purpose.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone is unique and learn how to navigate that difference is my goal. I was born and raised in Venezuela, from European parents. I have changed careers a few times. I have a background in Fine Art and Philosophy. I know what is like being in a minority group and being able to speak up. I have learned to make conscious my expectations about people and I'm able to speak about cultural traditions that are invisible to many. I'm very empathic with people experiencing any kind of acculturation issues.
