About My Clients
You may have spent so much time surviving, adapting, or being who others needed that you no longer feel connected to yourself. Beneath the anxiety, grief, painful experiences, or patterns that keep repeating, there is still a part of you waiting to be understood. I work with people who are ready to look beneath the surface, reconnect with their inner strength, and find their way toward a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, and fully their own.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I offer more than traditional talk therapy. These approaches help us recognize how unresolved experiences can shape present-day emotions, beliefs, behaviors, and nervous-system reactions. My experience includes supporting clients ages 12 and older through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and significant transitions. I tailor therapy to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions may include deeper processing, practical strategies, emotional regulation, or simply having room to pause and make sense of what you are experiencing. My goal is to provide thoughtful, effective care that helps you gain clarity, respond to challenges differently, and carry what you learn into your everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be met with dignity, curiosity, and genuine respect. I value authenticity, personal choice, emotional honesty, and the courage it takes to question roles or expectations that no longer fit. My practice is inclusive and affirming of diverse identities, backgrounds, relationships, and lived experiences. I do not believe therapy should require you to minimize parts of your story or fit into someone else’s definition of healing. I strive to remain open, grounded, and free of judgment while honoring each client as the expert on their own life. I also value humor, humanity, and the small moments of connection that make difficult work feel less clinical and more personal. Above all, I stand for helping people recognize that their voice matters and that they are worthy of taking up space in their own lives.
