About My Clients
I am comfortable working with client’s who struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, Autism, ADHD, and general life transitions. I enjoy working with young adults and older adults working through the various life changes that occur in those stages of life. I’m looking to assist clients ready to start or continue their healing journey and explore root causes to the symptoms and to explore individual strengths.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining Anchored Life Wellness Center, I worked in both private practice and community mental health settings, provided crisis consultation to teens and young adults as well as hospice support for older adults and their families through the Area Office on Aging and Hospice. I utilize a trauma informed lens to better assist clients in identifying their strengths and utilizing those in their healing journey. I strive to create a safe place for all that enter my office and will work to create a treatment plan tailored to the individual goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to have a safe place they can go to without fear of being judged or criticized. I believe in the rights of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and gender. I believe everyone deserves to have a voice and be able to make choices regarding their lives.
