About My Clients
Reaching out for support takes courage. I’m so glad you’re here! I created Bring Back the Village, to provide therapeutic support for women, children and families. Becoming a mother is a profound transformation and while it can feel joyful it can easily become overwhelming. You deserve a safe space to feel supported and empowered. It is my intention to offer tools that will enable you to feel prepared for the bumps along the way and embrace the joyful moments together as a family.
My Background and Approach
I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate the transformative journey into motherhood. Together, we will illuminate the path that connects you to your heart, intuition, and inner wisdom. I offer compassionate guidance rooted in a holistic approach that integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Yoga Psychology. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, and have devoted my career to working with women, children, and families since 2003. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2009, I have served in nonprofit mental health agencies, school-based mental health programs, and residential treatment centers. My passion is to help you feel empowered, connected, and grounded as you embrace the joys and challenges of motherhood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens through relationships. Together, we will explore the areas where you feel stuck, work to heal past traumas, and develop the tools you need to feel confident, empowered, and whole. My approach is both nurturing and practical, grounded in a holistic perspective that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. To meet your unique needs, I offer walk-and-talk sessions, as well as in-person and virtual appointments.
