About My Clients
Many of my clients struggle with anxiety and stress. They may have difficulty sleeping or struggle with stomachaches or headaches. Some of my clients have low self-esteem and are very hard on themselves. And others have experienced a big change in their lives (like a death, career event, relationship status change, a move, etc.) and they are having a tough time adjusting. All of my clients are facing an emotional challenge that is standing in the way of the life they want to live.
My Background and Approach
I come along side my clients in their pain, and together we find a way through. Therapy with me is based on the solid foundation of a safe, non-judgmental, authentic therapeutic relationship. From here we gently explore -- with curiosity and compassion -- emotions, thoughts and behaviors. We may notice unhelpful patterns that stand in the way. Our process strives towards gaining better self-understanding, developing a more helpful mindset, and discovering healthy and effective coping skills. My trainings have given me a fantastic tool box to help alleviate distressing symptoms.
