About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who are interested in gaining insight into how their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and past circumstances may be influencing the present. I work to assist clients in creating a life for themselves that cultivates more mindfulness, self compassion, and peacefulness. I work with teens and adults struggling with self esteem, depression, anxiety, substance use, recovery, relationship issues, stress, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is oriented in Person-Centered Therapy, honoring that you are the master of your own life. I also draw on the skills from other evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing in order offer clients different perspectives to address a variety of concerns.
