About My Clients
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burnt out? You are trying to move past this unsettling feeling due to anxiety, trauma, identity challenges, and life transitions. You are at the right place, as I help clients reconnect with their inner strength in a safe, affirming space. My clients come from a wide range of cultural, professional, and personal backgrounds—and are often ready to slow down, heal, and grow with support that truly sees the whole person.
My Background and Approach
As a South Asian and Zoroastrian therapist, I bring a culturally rooted, inclusive lens to therapy. I offer sessions in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Urdu. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in EMDR and T.E.A.M-CBT. With over a decade of combined experience in social services and clinical care, I firmly believe that our lives are further complicated and impacted by our culture, society, and systems. Thus, all of this will be brought into our sessions and work together. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-world experience across legal, behavioral health, and advocacy spaces. Many of my clients come feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Together, we explore patterns, build practical tools, and reconnect with what matters to you—at your pace. Recently, I was honored with the Torch of Liberty Award by the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association for my holistic and innovate social justice advocacy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If you’re carrying trauma, anxiety, or patterns that no longer serve you, I bring a calm, collaborative space to help you process and heal. I believe therapy should honor all parts of you—your story, your strengths, your culture, and your identity. Healing isn’t about “fixing” you, but about reconnecting with the parts of you that have been silenced or overlooked. Trained in EMDR and as a Advanced Level 3 TEAM-CBT therapist, I use evidence-based tools to move through what’s keeping you stuck—with compassion and clarity. Many of my clients come from immigrant, LGBTQ+, or multicultural backgrounds and want a therapist who gets the emotional and systemic layers of their experience. You set the pace—I walk with you. In short, I do believe that talking around issues has a place in therapy but it has limited benefits. To get the most out of therapy, we have to work together with intention and use practical tools (exposure work, cognitive filtering, etc.) for long-term benefits.
