About My Clients
I believe that the connection between therapist and client is the most powerful tool for change and healing. I have vast experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, families and groups with a wide range of issues. These include but not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief, identity issues, relationship issues and mood disorders. Therapy can be a safe and supportive place for you to gain insight, process emotions and to learn skills to handle life's challenges. I am here to help!
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is integrative and I strive to tailor my approach to meet the needs and style of my clients. My approach includes a variety of humanistic, person centered, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy. I offer morning, evening and weekend availability and also teletherapy services. I promise to always be a calm presence and to provide a safe, compassionate and accepting space. I will approach you with curiosity and unconditional positive regard. I may be direct sometimes, but in a loving and constructive way. I will strive to make you feel deeply understood and cared about. I am looking forward to starting this journey with you to a healthier and happier life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Having my own private practice enables me to embark on a journey with clients who strive to live their lives authentically. My flexibility to accommodate my clients and the values I hold and share with them enables me and them to work together openly and freely. Volunteering since a young age, and always striving to give back to the community, I knew since middle school that I wanted to be a psychologist. I have always felt honored and privileged to be allowed into my clients deepest thoughts and hearts during their most vulnerable times. I am inspired every day. I enjoy giving presentations at various platforms and I implement a lot of play and art therapy when working with children and teens. I enjoy implementing mindfulness techniques into sessions and focusing on mind, body and soul with all of my clients. I offer morning, evening and weekend availability and provide a sliding scale fee so that all of my clients have the opportunity to work with me without limitations.
