About My Clients
Did you know one of the most frequently discussed topics in a therapy session is relationships? We are wired to connect. Love and acceptance are needs we strive to experience. But we may lack the ability to communicate our priorities and values and to engage and regulate ourselves during intense conversations. This often leads to stagnation, limited opportunities, and a lack of meaningful connection. Therapy with me can bring clarity by identifying your strengths and developing new skills.
My Background and Approach
I take a holistic approach to healing. I believe that we have the potential to thrive when we can function as a whole entity. Therapy with me is client-centered, meaning you are the expert and already have strengths. I use evidence-based interventions during our therapy sessions to broaden your self-awareness, highlight your strengths, and develop new skills. The first part of my career, over 20 years, was spent in sports, health, and wellness. As an Exercise Physiologist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructor, I worked with athletes and many injuries. I learned that recovery starts with an intentional mindset and understanding your values and priorities. My hope is that you depart sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationship with your external environment. In time, your frame of reference evolves as you develop meaning, embrace your self-efficacy, and take ownership of your narrative.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space where you can show up fully as you are: without needing to perform, filter, or have everything figured out. My work is rooted in curiosity, respect, and the belief that meaningful change happens through deeper self-awareness and honest exploration. I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore both the parts of yourself that feel clear and those that feel uncertain or difficult to face. I am committed to providing inclusive, trauma-informed care that honors each person’s identity and lived experience. I also support individuals in psychedelic integration and harm reduction, helping clients process and make meaning of non-ordinary experiences in a grounded, intentional way. I believe that even in moments of uncertainty, there is an opportunity for growth, clarity, and more intentional ways of living.
