About My Clients
We become and unbecome who we are because of relationships. For many of us our childhood traumas inform how we behave as adults. My work is centered on the impact of generational trauma. Did you have a challenging mother, father or guardian? Because of your childhood relationships do you "people please", have a hard time saying no, struggle to set boundaries, feel anxious in romantic relationships, etc? I hope to help you create peace in your relationship with self and others.
My Background and Approach
In my work with individuals I use an eclectic approach tailored to fit the needs of the client(s). I am certified in DBT which helps clients find balance with acceptance and change, and emotion and logic. I am also a sex-positive clinician with sexology training for gender, sex and relationship diverse adults. My approach is a balance of processing and skills training, inclusive of homework assignments.
