About My Clients

I work with adults. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. Everyone is welcome. I have been a resource for other therapists. If you are a leader, healer, protector, caregiver, teacher, or manager, it can be difficult to allow yourself to be a receiver of the healing, care and protection you readily offer to others. Honoring yourself with the same care you give can help you feel more grounded, resilient and effective in your personal and professional life.

My Background and Approach

I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Much of my career has been in medical, inpatient and law enforcement environments, along with outpatient clinics. My greatest strength has been building trusting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Using a trauma informed care approach, I create a safe collaborative space where you feel heard and understood. I combine warmth with honesty, respecting your lived experience. I honor your truth while exploring new perspectives and actions to promote healing and change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have devoted by career to working with underserved populations. As a Caucasian and cisgender psychologist, I recognize my own background and experiences may differ from the people I serve. I strive to create a welcoming, affirming and respectful environment for individuals of all racial, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds, as well as all sexual orientations and gender identities. I approach everyone with curiosity, openness and humility. My goal is for everyone to feel seen, heard and respected.
