In my specialty of counseling individuals experiencing anxiety, I focus on addressing a range of psychological and physical symptoms related to various anxiety disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to target and alter negative thought patterns and behaviors. I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment where my clients feel genuinely understood and supported.

I focus on addressing the broad range of emotional and physical symptoms associated with depression, including persistent sadness, loss of interest in activities, fatigue, and changes in sleep or appetite. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors contributing to their depression. I also provide psychoeducation about depression, helping clients understand symptoms and equip them with self-help tools.

n my practice using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for treating depression and anxiety, I focus on fostering psychological flexibility by helping clients accept their thoughts and feelings rather than struggling against them. For depression, I guide clients in accepting their feelings of sadness and hopelessness without judgment. By helping them understand that these emotions are part of their experience rather than problems to be fixed, I aim to reduce the struggle and resistance.

I focus on identifying and addressing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to a client’s symptoms. I start by helping clients recognize their automatic negative thoughts, such as self-criticism or feelings of worthlessness. Together, we challenge these thoughts by examining the evidence for and against them and reframing them into more balanced perspectives.

I concentrate on leveraging clients' strengths and resources to achieve their goals in a concise and goal-oriented manner. I start by helping clients clearly define their goals and desired outcomes, focusing on what they want to achieve rather than exploring the depth of their problems. By reflecting on past successes and effective strategies, I encourage clients to draw on these experiences to address their current challenges.
