I am a female bodied, queer and spiritually minded therapist. Welcome to my page. I hope you find something inspiring.
Clinical Social Worker in OLYMPIA, WA
If you dig deeper- beyond self-esteem- there's radical self love and compassion. These are the essences of our what it means to truly love ourselves. My framework will always gently guide you to build these parts of yourself to experience and feel something more whole.
We are so much more than our brains and bodies. I work holistically- including speaking to your sense of spirituality and higher source within yourself. We all have questions and beliefs that continue to change just as we change and evolve. I invite these parts of you into our work together to generate and further your sense of wholeness. I am also a certified transpersonal hypnotherapist from HCH Institute in CA.
Queerness has a spectrum of lived experiences and identities, and it's nice to to have a therapist you can share yourself with, without having to fully teach these parts of your life. Whether you're questioning things and need guidance around how to live more freely, or simply want to talk about other life issues and make sure you're seen for who you are- I can provide that for you.
This is the basis of what my training was in. I've been practicing this since starting grad school in 2005. What this means is that we trace and explore how your current concerns and dilemmas are informed by and impacted by your childhood experiences.
There are various kinds of somatic therapies I use, such as LifeSpan Integration (healing the fragmented parts of ourselves into something whole), Bi-Lateral Stimulation (processing trauma and negative beliefs in we hold in our bodies and nervous system), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) otherwise known as Tapping (clearing stuck and unprocessed energy in the body).
I practice and offer transpersonal hypnotherapy- which means your ego/personality and subconscious/spirit can have a conversation together as I guide you through building self empowerment, reach clarity, and become adaptive to change.
This is the basis of my graduate degree- studying how we our current concerns and dilemmas back to our childhood experiences. I always bring this framework into my practice- since at it's essence, helps us understand, make sense of, build self compassion for and eventually forgive and become neutral to our past wounds.
