About My Clients
There is nothing scarier than feeling lost and confused about this journey we call life. With all the shame and stigma that surrounds seeking help it can be very difficult to begin the journey of healing and growing. So whether you are grieving, lonely, feeling sad, having an existential crisis, feeling joyful, hopeful or anxious or wherever you may be, I want to honor that and work together.
My Background and Approach
My goal for you is that during our time together you experience warmth, empathy, authenticity, trust and compassion. I draw from different schools of practice such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Humanistic and Narrative therapy. However, the focal point of these practices is on the therapeutic relationship and collaboratively working with clients to guide the healing process. I utilize storytelling, curiosity, and a holistic lens to develop tools to help guide clients to the answers/support they seek. I like to focus on empowering the individual by increasing self-compassion and self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that as humans we have all the answers within ourselves, however, due to life experiences, systemic oppression, internalized racism and societal expectations/norms we lose our sense of direction and forget the magic we carry within ourselves.
