About My Clients
My clients are often the strong ones ,the helpers, the doers, the ones everyone else leans on. They show up for the world while quietly carrying anxiety, burnout, grief, or pain they've never had space to set down. Many have wondered if they're "too much" or "not enough" to deserve support. They're done just getting through the day. If that sounds like you, you're exactly who I had in mind.
My Background and Approach
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped as much by lived experience as by education. I know what it means to carry weight that isn't visible, to appear capable while quietly longing for rest and relief. That personal understanding deepens the care I bring to every session. My work is rooted in a relational, whole-person philosophy meaning I see you as more than your symptoms. I'm interested in the full context of who you are: your story, your body, your culture, your faith, and the patterns that have shaped you. I draw on evidence-informed approaches while centering the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of healing. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model we work at your pace, toward goals that are meaningful to you. At Sacred Ease Therapy, the guiding belief is simple: rest is a birthright and ease is deserved. You don't have to earn your way to healing. You just have to show up and I'll meet you there.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is most powerful when it's honest, human, and rooted in something deeper than technique. My faith shapes how I move through the world and how I show up for my clients with humility, genuine care, and the belief that every person carries inherent worth and dignity. I am committed to equity in mental health care. Access to quality therapy should not be a privilege, and I actively work to make my practice welcoming and affordable for those who have historically been underserved . I believe rest is not laziness , it is resistance. In a world that rewards constant output, choosing to heal and slow down is a radical act. My Caribbean roots and personal healing journey inform this deeply.I support LGBTQ+ affirming care, cultural humility in clinical practice, and the ongoing work of dismantling stigma around mental health in communities of color. At the heart of everything is a simple conviction: you are not broken, you are human and you deserve a space that honors all of it
