About My Clients
I work with Black working professionals and couples who carry a lot privately. On the outside you may look successful and put together, but inside you may feel tired, emotionally shut down, overwhelmed, alone, or disconnected from yourself or your partner. Many of my clients live in survival mode, constantly pushing, overthinking, and showing up for everyone else while ignoring their own needs. Therapy is a space to slow down, be seen, and heal what hurts.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I help clients uncover the beliefs they have learned to carry about themselves, especially the ones that keep them stuck in unhealthy patterns. Together, we will identify what is no longer serving you, break cycles that repeat, and strengthen the parts of you that are already resilient. My approach is warm, collaborative, and real. I believe effective therapy is rooted in relationship, meaning you should feel safe, respected, and understood while doing this work. Each session is tailored to your goals, your needs, and your life. I truly believe people want to live more authentically, even when life has made that feel complicated.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide a safe, affirming space where you can show up as your full self. You do not have to code switch, shrink yourself, or hide the parts of you that feel misunderstood in other spaces. My hope is that you feel emotionally safe enough to be honest and vulnerable, because that is where healing begins. In our work together, we will face what is true, identify what you need, and create a path forward that feels grounded and sustainable. I will support you in building confidence, strengthening your self-worth, deepening self-awareness, and breaking old relational patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is for you to walk away feeling more aligned, more secure, and more fulfilled in your life and relationships.
