About My Clients
My ideal clients are people who feel stuck, whether in their relationship with food, their emotions, or patterns that no longer serve them, and want support in building a healthier, more fulfilling life. I work especially well with adolescents and adults who are navigating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, or life transitions. I also support families looking to strengthen their connection, improve communication, or heal from past hurts.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s in Social Work at University of Denver- Colorado with a specialization in Animal-Assisted Therapy. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of people and environments—from kids learning to manage big emotions to adults navigating loss, stress, parenting hurdles and life changes. In our work together, I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Instead, I’ll take time to get to know you, what matters to you, and what feels hard right now. Together, we’ll create a plan that builds on your strengths and helps you find practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up fully as yourself. Humans are messy, complicated, and diverse. I want every client to feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m passionate about body acceptance, mental health advocacy, and helping people unlearn harmful messages about worth and identity. Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me volunteering around Denver with my therapy dog, Graham, expressing my creative side behind a camera as a photographer, or connecting with my community and neighbors. I strive to create a practice that is LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive, and grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect.
