I value and appreciate having a diverse group of clients. Whether you are an individual, a family, or a couple, and no matter your age, I work with folks who benefit from a body-based approach with an emphases on meditation, relational healing, and intergenerational and systemic acknowledgement. Your identity and lived experiences are important to me. Co-building safety and trust together is vital. Your journey is unique and beautiful, and you don't need to walk it alone. My Background and Approach
As a human, we are guaranteed pain and stress in our lifetime. Yet, perhaps one of the most creative invitations of all on offer is what we do with this suffering. You are not your suffering. By using the foundations of mindful awareness, embodiment, and connection, suffering can be transformed into strength, a deeper knowing of oneself, and a greater intimacy with life itself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am informed by Buddhist perspective - knowing and acknowledging suffering and freedom from suffering. The earth and moon based wisdom of my Jewish ancestors informs and guides me, inviting in the importance of existing and belonging to an ecosystem, to community, rather than isolation. We are not isolated individuals, we are our ancestors' dreams, we are future ancestors, we are part of life. I believe in innate wholeness and the possibility of freedom. I am a dedicated meditation practitioner and educator, and through working with diverse populations (youth, incarcerated folks, elders), have witnessed the easing of suffering. I am curious about innate wisdom and creativity - I am a singer and dancer - and in therapy, I look for and celebrate your currents of creativity.
