About My Clients

My clients often come to therapy feeling disconnected, stuck in patterns that just don’t work anymore, or unsure how to bridge the distance growing in their relationships. Many are longing for more closeness, understanding, and teamwork—whether as partners, parents, or family members. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s really happening beneath the surface, and build skills that support lasting, meaningful connection.

My Background and Approach

In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s really happening beneath the surface of your relationship—what keeps you feeling stuck, unheard, or disconnected. I’ll help you and your partner or family slow things down, communicate more openly, and notice the patterns that show up when things get hard. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I’ll offer practical tools and insights you can take with you between sessions so that growth continues beyond the therapy room. Together, we’ll work on rebuilding trust, strengthening emotional safety, and finding ways to reconnect that feel natural and genuine. My goal is to help you feel more seen, supported, and confident in your ability to create the kind of relationships you want—ones grounded in understanding, care, and lasting connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before becoming a therapist, I was an advocate—and that part of me still deeply informs the work I do today. I care about creating a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and genuinely welcomed, no matter their background, identity, or story. I believe that healing happens in safety, and that safety grows when people can show up as their full, authentic selves. My advocacy work has included serving as a sexual assault response advocate, responding to crisis calls for a community health agency, and founding an Active Minds chapter to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma. These experiences shaped my belief in the power of empathy, education, and community support. I strive to bring those same values into every session—meeting clients with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for their lived experiences.
