About My Clients
Do you struggle with disordered eating, addictive behaviors, or distressing thoughts and feelings? Are you dealing with feelings of guilt, shame, or hurt that are interfering with your life? I would love to help you break free of these patterns to find emotional and mental healing.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and prior to opening my practice I worked in the world of residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment for 5+ years. Together we will identify patterns of behavior that are no longer helpful for you, break down barriers keeping you from practicing emotional vulnerability and self-compassion, and explore ways to make meaningful change in your life. If you are struggling with disordered eating, I aim to help you find healing in your relationship with food, movement, and your body. If you are dealing with addictive behaviors, I can work with you to better understand the roots of your addiction and find relief in ways that feel more aligned with your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all are worthy of healing and wholeness, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, body size, or nationality. I have had the privilege of witnessing significant and long-lasting positive change in individuals from all walks of life. Though you might be at a point in your life where you are feeling hopeless, alone, or trapped, I believe that you are capable and deserving of something different. I understand the weight of feeling misunderstood, and I hope through our work together I can help you feel understood in a way propels you forward into growth and deeper connections in your day-to-day life.
