About My Clients
I aspire to support and empower individuals throughout their mental health journey. I have work with all populations and identities including those who identify as LGBTQ+, people of color, youth, and young adults. I provide support with a variety of mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem development, family conflicts, stress, trauma, and substance abuse issues.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is to utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focus Therapy tailored to your specific needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a background in community mental health therapy supporting underserved communities, children, and families. I obtained my Associate's Degree in the State of Alabama, Bachelor’s in Sociology from Texas Tech University, and Master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and Education Counseling with Pupil Personnel Services Credential from National University.
