About My Clients
Is what you're doing getting you what you want? I am excited and honored to be invited into your personal journey to figure out what's working or not. I will walk beside you and help you figure out what change might look like for you. I am a listener, a guide, a cheerleader, an accountability coach and, most importantly, provide a healing space for growth.
My Background and Approach
Working from a Motivational Interviewing perspective allows me to meet my clients where they are in his/her process of change. MI is a very nonjudgmental, collaborative and respectful therapeutic approach. I am also an EMDR practitioner, addressing the needs of those suffering from trauma. My belief in Harm Reduction comes from years of watching people struggle within the confines of old school addiction treatment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to helping people find their personal path toward healing and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapeutic approach is centered in the evolution of how the treatment world is changing and I work hard to meet the needs of my clients. I believe the therapist/client connection is the most powerful tool that leads to change.
