About My Clients
I serve LGBTQ+ adults and allies seeking affirming, personalized psychiatric care. My clients often include professionals managing anxiety, ADHD, burnout, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and identity-related stress. I work well with individuals who value insight, nuance, and a steady, collaborative approach to growth and healing. I work from a collaborative, respectful, and non-judgmental stance.
My Background and Approach
I'm a board-certified psychiatrist with training in academic and consultation psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. My style is collaborative, grounded, and non-judgmental. I do therapy and see our work together as a space to understand patterns, build insight, and make real, sustainable changes. Medication management can be part of treatment when helpful, but it's always thoughtful, personalized, and never the only focus. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming. I aim to create a space that feels real, safe, and thoughtful - where you can show up as you are and still work towards meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you're not broken - you're responding to what you've lived. I believe therapy should feel real, collaborative, and supportive, not rigid or judgmental. I believe change is possible without needing to become someone else. I believe in affirming care, personal agency, and meeting people where they actually are.
