About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to engage in a space that may be unfamiliar but will always be met with warmth and understanding. Working with those who are wanting the help and allowing me to come into their space and guiding them towards their future of healing.
My Background and Approach
I am a compassionate and experienced therapist specializing in sexual assault trauma, with certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I have a deep understanding of the complex emotional and psychological impact of trauma, and I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe space for healing. In addition to trauma, I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, and women's issues. My goal is to empower individuals to reclaim their lives, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience. Together, we’ll work at your pace to address the challenges you're facing and help you move toward a brighter, more balanced future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have an immense capacity for change. I knew I wanted to be a therapist since I was 9 years old. I received my Bachelor's in Social Work and immediately moved to California to get my Masters. This profession is one I am deeply engrained in and deeply passionate about. Growing up on the east coast and moving to the west coast I have seen first hand myself change and grow into version of myself that I am happy and proud of. Even through therapy myself! I am an avid TV watcher and can go on for hours about the shows I watch and the music I am currently listening to! I do believe that friends can be utilized like a therapist, as I do for mine and they do for me. However, I think that when one is ready to put in the work they come to see a licensed therapist and put in the work!
