About My Clients
I primarily work with women who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss, infertility, and birth trauma. Losing a pregnancy or baby can be a very isolating experience- but it doesn’t have to be. I work with clients to help them process and integrate the loss and move forward with hope. I also work with people from ages 12-80+ on issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and stage of life changes (especially high school, college, early work force, and early parenting years).
My Background and Approach
I have completed additional training to be certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), helping women from the family planning stage through early parenting years. I am also International Perinatal Partnership for Excellence Certified (IPPE-C), focusing on providing excellent care for women during the perinatal period. Additionally, I am a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS). I help process the loss of loved ones, humans and animals, as well as non-death losses like divorce, breakups (romantic and friendship), jobs, health and ability changes, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as both a member and supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. I believe in racial justice and equity. I am a feminist. I try to live eco-friendly (but I'm not perfect!) and believe in protecting our planet. I believe in the rights of animals.
