I’m Gabrielle Locke, a postpartum doula and therapist, and I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most transformative stages. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and certifications in postpartum anxiety, depression, and perinatal grief and loss, I have built a practice that combines my clinical expertise with a deep, compassionate approach to healing. In my work at Chicago Family Therapy, I specialize in treating postpartum mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, as well as navigating the relational and emotional challenges that often arise during the postpartum period. The postpartum period is a unique and intense time in a person’s life, filled with both joy and immense challenges. Whether it’s adjusting to the demands of a new baby or navigating changes in relationships and self-identity, this stage can bring up a wide range of emotions.
