About My Clients
As a Black, Queer individual, I am passionate about working with all clients, but specialize in clients who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and/or are members of the LGBTQAAI2S+ community through the lens of intersectionality. I am committed to creating an accessible and equitable counseling space for BIPOC and Queer/Trans Folks. I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE AT THIS TIME.
My Background and Approach
I have an intersectional feminist methodology to counseling. In my interpretation, this approach involves elevating the idea that equity and equality are valued across all areas of life regardless of individual variables. I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE AT THIS TIME.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans have intersecting identities that impact outcomes in one’s day-to-day life. It is also my unyielding belief that social behavior and societal customs have a role in human behavior which is contrary to traditional models of human behavior. My goal is to travel with you on your journey to wellness and encourage you to remain steadfast in prioritizing yourself, your boundaries and your mental health.
