About My Clients
I am currently accepting new clients from all walks of life for individual telehealth sessions. I have had the privilege to provide therapy for a diverse group of clients with a variety of mental health issues such as navigating life transitions, struggles with their self-esteem, depression, low mood, as well as anxiety. I view therapy as a partnership in supporting your mental health struggles and goals. My approach to counseling is non-judgmental and compassionate.
My Background and Approach
I can provide a safe, nurturing environment to help you feel comfortable. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship between me and my clients. Empathy and kindness are integral to my process. I currently specialize in anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of growth and change, no matter what your life experience has been up to this point. Mental health can be affected by a lot of different things and your life experience can contribute to that. What you have gone through in life does not have to define you. It is part of your story, but it isn't the whole book. I would like to help you along your journey to help you live the life you want to live. I think one of the most important parts of my job as a therapist is to be nonjudgmental, so I do not discriminate against anyone. I strive to be culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Most importantly, and possibly the biggest deal breaker for some, I do enjoy pineapple on pizza. Not all of the time, let me be clear, but I do enjoy it sometimes. I will not judge you either way.
