About My Clients
My clients expand from young children and adolescents navigating big emotions to adults seeking safety and empowerment in their bodies. The individuals and groups that I work with are typically work with are survivors of domestic violence, sexual, psychological, and interpersonal trauma, as well as those navigating life's transitions such as immigration, who often seek a greater sense of spirituality and restoration through a blend of holistic and Western interventions.
My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) integrative psychotherapist , social worker, yoga teacher, and reiki practitioner who is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages in reclaiming their power and breaking free from oppressive cycles. With over a decade of experience in community and mental health settings around the world, I have a deep appreciation for the vast uniqueness and shared universality the human experience. My therapeutic approach weaves together evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside holistic practices including somatic exercises, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), acupressure, and meditation. Grounded in compassion, my work is anti-oppressive, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I strive to honor the truth that some may find clarity through talk therapy, while others may connect more deeply through mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that safety and autonomy in one's body, as well as movement through migration, is a human right. I feel that we all deserve spaces to feel strong and be curious about our own pathway to healing. I believe that each young person has the right to learn about themselves through comprehensive social emotional and sexual education and that each adult has the space to send compassion to their younger self.
