About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or more complex mental health needs. I especially enjoy supporting clients who want a warm, nonjudgmental space to make sense of what they are experiencing, build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, and feel more grounded and in control of their lives.
My Background and Approach
I am a second-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's student at Belmont University and a Clinical Intern at The Therapeutic Studio, where I provide counseling under the supervision of Allison Battles, LPC-MHSP-S. I work with teens and adults with a wide range of concerns, from everyday stress and life transitions to more complex or higher-acuity needs. My approach is collaborative, warm, and individualized, drawing primarily from Adlerian and existential therapy while integrating evidence-based strategies to fit each client's needs. I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself, your patterns, relationships, strengths, and choices while also giving you practical tools for change. I am trained in suicide risk assessment and crisis care and have completed the Jason Foundation 2026 Youth and First Responders Suicide Prevention Module. I offer in-person sessions in Franklin and Thompson's Station, as well as telehealth, with a deep sliding scale from $0-$75.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space to be fully themselves without fear of judgment. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and genuine human connection, and I believe meaningful change often begins when we feel truly heard and understood. In therapy, I respect each client's individual values, beliefs, identities, experiences, and goals. I don't believe there is one "right" way to approach life or healing, and I want therapy to be a collaborative space where you can explore what matters most to you. I am comfortable sitting with difficult emotions and conversations, and you do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.
