My Background and Approach
Having worked in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient psychiatric recovery settings, my work emphasizes resiliency building, trauma-informed care, development of resources, a client-centered inclusive approach and mental health advocacy and education. Additionally, I often utilize creative arts interventions in my work with individuals in order to facilitate neurobiological integration and nervous system recovery and work with artists and creatives in managing their mental health and overcoming creative challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a neurodivergent, disabled, first-generation American cis-woman, I know first-hand how hard it is to move through a society that wasn’t built for you. Using a creative, integrative and inclusive approach to mental health, our work together aims to build upon your existing strengths and resources.
